Boy, does that smell bad! Wow, that tastes really good! Each day a different sense will be emphasized; sight, smell, touch, hearing and taste. Building models will increase your understanding of how the senses work.
July 19 - 23 | Weird & Wacky Science
Get ready for a great adventure in the chemistry lab. Put on the lab aprons and safety goggles and experience firsthand chemical reactions that fizz, pop, change colors and even change texture. It is great fun to learn the science of chemistry.
July 26 - 30 | Gardening for Wildlife
What’s in your backyard? Investigate features of the habitats that attract a variety of critters. While creating a wildlife sanctuary, campers will gain knowledge about God’s creatures and how to take care of them.
August 2 - 6 | Paleontology Exploration
Them bones, them bones, them dry bones! Investigating fossil evidence supports the biblical account that dinosaurs and humans did co-exist. Campers will learn how to identify fossils, grid dig sites, piece together fossil fragments to form complete fossils and prepare them for transportation just like the real paleontologists.
August 9 - 13 | Exploring Energy
Who turned on the lights! Investigate the awesome forms of energy that God placed in His Creation. Discover how light and sound move in waves. Investigate the wonderful colors that are all around us and inspire us. The colors around us could not be seen without the visible light spectrum.
